Andreas Schlögelhofer

Andreas Schlögelhofer is a Postdoctoral Fellow at CERN specializing in beam instrumentation and non-invasive diagnostic development, particularly focusing on Cherenkov diffraction radiation in dielectric materials for future circular collider applications. Previously, Andreas held roles as a Technical Student and Intern at CERN, contributing to various aspects of beam diagnostics. Experience also includes an internship in the Quantum Metrology Research Group at TU Wien Atominstitut, where work involved cooling setups for photomultiplier tubes. Academically, Andreas pursued a Doctor of Science in Engineering Physics at Technische Universität Wien, following a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in the same field, all completed between 2014 and 2024.
