Andy Buckley

Andy Buckley is a Professor of Particle Physics at the University of Glasgow, where roles have included Senior Lecturer and Royal Society University Research Fellow since August 2013. Buckley's research focuses on the ATLAS experiment, machine learning in BSM phenomenology, and event simulation in particle physics. Since October 2001, Buckley has been involved with CERN as a visiting researcher and Scientific Associate. Previous roles include Honorary Lecturer at UCL, Monte Carlo group convenor for the ATLAS Experiment, and an Advanced Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. Buckley holds a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Cambridge, complemented by an MSci and MA in Physics from the same institution.
