Anton Lu

Doctoral Researcher

Anton Lu is currently employed as a Doctoral Researcher at CERN, focusing on modeling magnetic hysteresis and eddy currents with machine learning to enhance beam performance during acceleration cycles. Previous roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included examining Artificial Intelligence concepts, and as a Master Thesis Student at SBB CFF FFS, developing a computer vision model for defect detection in rail joints. Anton has also gained experience as a Scientific Computing Intern and Summer Student at CERN, contributing to various projects aimed at optimizing beam performance and continuous integration for distributed computing.
