Archana Sharma

Archana SHARMA is a seasoned physicist and senior adviser at CERN, where since March 2010, responsibilities include managing relations with international organisations, particularly within the United Nations system, and supporting fundamental research visibility in multilateral contexts. With a diverse background, Archana has served as Chairperson of the Working Group on Greenhouse Gases, Principal Physicist, and Co-Chair of the CMS International Committee, fostering collaboration among institutions. Archana's experience extends to project management for the Muon GEM Upgrade in the CMS Experiment and has included roles as a Senior Staff Scientist focused on detector development and outreach. Educational qualifications include a Doctorat de Science in Particle Physics from the University of Geneva, an EMBA from the International University Geneva, and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Delhi University, among others.
