Athanasios Topaloudis

Athanasios Topaloudis is a Computer Engineer with extensive experience at CERN since October 2011, specializing in the Accelerator Systems Department. Responsibilities include overseeing the software development for the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) Orbit System, managing specifications and design, and commissioning the system into operation. Previous roles at CERN included serving as a Fellow in the Beams Department, where efforts focused on developing and maintaining low-level applications for hardware control. Additionally, Athanasios worked as a Technical Student, enhancing real-time software for Fast Beam Current Transformers and creating a user-friendly graphical interface. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at Hellenic Petroleum, providing software and hardware support. Athanasios holds a degree in Computer & Communication Engineering from the University of Thessaly, completed in 2012.
