Barry Sanders

Barry Sanders is a Professor and the Scientific Director of Quantum City at the University of Calgary, where they also serve as an AITF iCORE Chair in Quantum Information Science. Currently, they are a Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, a Scholar at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, and a Scientist at the Creative Destruction Lab. Throughout their career, Barry has held various visiting professors roles at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and the University of Waterloo, and has contributed significantly to the field of quantum information through research, leadership, and editorial positions. Barry's education includes a Doctor of Science in Physics from Imperial College London.
