Daniela Antonio

Daniela Antonio is an experienced communications manager currently leading the digital communications team at CERN, overseeing multiple social media platforms and coordinating services within the Education, Communication and Outreach group. Previous roles include communications officer for the EU Projects Office, where Daniela managed communications for EC co-funded projects and contributed to Horizon 2020 proposals, and communications lead at Instituto Superior Técnico, where Daniela developed the center's inaugural communication strategy. Additional experience includes freelance translation for Google/Youtube, managing digital communications for Rewilding Europe, and serving as information and media analyst at CARMA. Daniela holds a Master of Science in Science Communication from NOVA FCSH and a licentiate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa.
