Darren Price serves as the Associate Dean for Engagement at the Faculty of Science and Engineering and is a Professor of Particle Physics and Data Intensive Science at The University of Manchester. In addition to leading the 4IR Centre for Doctoral Training in Data Intensive Science, Darren holds positions as a visiting scientist at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and CERN, and has managed education and outreach initiatives for the ATLAS experiment at CERN. With a strong background in experimental particle physics, Darren has been awarded competitive fellowships from the STFC and EU Marie Curie, and has contributed to significant research projects, including collaborations on large-scale datasets from the Large Hadron Collider. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from Lancaster University, alongside a Master's degree from The University of Manchester and a MA from the University of Cambridge.
