Davide Aguglia is a Deputy Group Leader at CERN, where they oversee the design and commissioning of fast pulsed converters within the power converter group. Davide earned a diploma in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland in 2002, followed by an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Laval University in 2004 and 2010, respectively. Since 2011, they have also served as an Associate Professor at Laval University, co-directing doctoral students and graduate courses. Their research focuses on power electronics systems design, high voltage engineering for particle accelerators, and renewable energy systems.
