Diego Barrientos

Diego Barrientos is an experienced electronics engineer with a robust background in FPGA firmware development and advanced research in bio-inspired computing platforms. Currently employed at CERN since June 2020, Diego is involved in the deployment and commissioning of Low-Level RF systems across various accelerators. Previous roles include postdoctoral research at Haute école du paysage, d'ingénierie et d'architecture de Genève, and participation in innovative projects at ID Quantique SA and CERN. Diego's extensive academic qualifications include a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Valencia, along with multiple master's degrees in Electronic Engineering, Physics, and Computer Engineering from Universidad de Salamanca.
