Efe Y.

Efe Y. is a skilled Research Physicist and Data Scientist at CERN since July 2007, specializing in high energy physics. Efe has held several key coordinator positions at CERN, including roles in the High Energy Physics Software Foundation and various CMS management convenerships. Concurrently, Efe serves as an Assistant Fellow at National Taiwan University since 2020 and has previously collaborated with the Institute of High Energy Physics in China, the University of Ghent in Belgium, and Texas Tech University in the USA. Efe's research contributions include significant work on calorimeter data analysis and the search for the Higgs Boson, with prior experience as a Software Developer and Guest Scientist at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Efe holds a Ph.D. in Elementary Particle Physics, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Middle East Technical University, as well as a High School Diploma from TED Ankara Koleji.
