Ekin Akman is currently serving as the Coordinator of the Youth Leadership Council and the youngest member of the UNICEF Business Advisory Board, managing educational and environmental projects with representatives from all seven regions of Turkey while providing insights on youth engagement and sustainability to private-sector companies. Simultaneously, Ekin is a Youth Activist for UN Women, coordinating sessions for the Beijing+30 Youth Dialogues and representing Turkey at key events. Ekin also holds a research internship at CERN, focusing on axion dark matter detection, and has founded The Power of Youth Writers, an initiative aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for students. Additionally, Ekin has research roles at Lokman Hekim Universitesi, Cognitive Coven, and has completed internships at the Max Planck Institute for Physics and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Ekin is pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley, having previously attended notable educational programs in quantum mechanics and artificial intelligence.
