Emanuele Capizzi is a geomatics engineer currently working at CERN since January 2024, contributing to the Topography/Geomatics team through the development of Python scripts for geospatial data processing and data integration with FME. Prior to this role, Emanuele served as a Geographic Information System Developer at TerrAria s.r.l. from October to December 2023, where the focus was on creating the Lombardy Region Web Viewer 2D - Anti Incendio Boschivo. Emanuele also worked as a research fellow at Politecnico di Milano from November 2021 to November 2022, engaging in projects related to particulate matter analysis and geospatial data integration for the Italian Space Agency. Earlier experience includes working as an Environmental Engineer at Studio Riadatto, where Emanuele participated in various projects involving surveying and GIS data processing. Emanuele holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and is currently pursuing further studies at the same institution.
