Federico Alessio is a Staff Applied Physicist at CERN since February 2007, currently serving as Project Leader for the timing and readout control system for the LHCb upgrade and previously in various significant roles such as LHC Programme Coordinator (2023-2024), LHCb Run Coordinator (2022-2023), and LHCb Upgrade Commissioning Coordinator (2019-2022). Federico is also a member of the firmware and software development group for the LHCb experiment and has held positions that include Deputy Run Coordinator and expert on-call for the LHCb experiment. Earlier experience includes roles as a Fellow, Doctoral Student, Technical Student, and Summer Student at CERN, focusing on monitoring systems and custom electronics for high-energy physics experiments. Federico holds a PhD in Physics from Aix-Marseille University and both MSc and BSc degrees in Physics from Università degli Studi di Torino.
