Florian Rehm is a Data Scientist at CERN since February 2020, leading the AccGPT project, which provides various large language models to the CERN community. In addition to this role, Florian is also a Doctoral Student focused on Quantum Machine Learning Generative Models within the CERN openlab initiative. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position in Artificial Intelligence at Fraunhofer IIS, where contributions supported advancements in medical technology and sensor systems, and a Master's thesis on Deep Learning and Computer Vision at Siemens. Earlier career stages involved a Bachelor thesis at TRIUMF examining neutron properties, and an internship at Robert Bosch GmbH, where significant contributions included solving a major production issue. Florian holds a PhD in Physics from RWTH Aachen University and degrees in Engineering Physics and Simulation and Testing from Coburg University.
