Francesco Piro

Analog and mixed-signal IC designer, Senior Fellow

Francesco Piro is an experienced Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Designer currently serving as a Senior Fellow at CERN, where they design a monolithic stitched sensor for the ALICE Inner Tracking System. Previously, they contributed to the TT-PET project as an intern at the University of Geneva and participated in the STREAM Innovative Training Network at CERN, focusing on radiation-hard circuits for the ATLAS Inner Tracking System upgrade. Francesco earned both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, graduating with high honors.
