Frederic Chapron

Frederic Chapron is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and network management, currently serving as a Departmental Service Contract Officer at CERN since November 2002. Frederic has held various key roles, including Service Management Project Leader and Deputy Group Leader of the Communication Systems group, contributing significantly to the operation and development of CERN's data and telecommunication networks. Frederic’s earlier experience includes positions at the Union Internationale des Télécommunications, Hewlett-Packard, and Alcatel-Lucent, where skills in network engineering and project management were honed. Frederic holds an executive master's degree in International Negotiation and Policy-Making from the Geneva Graduate Institute and an engineering diploma in Networking and Telecoms from ESIGETEL.
