Frédéric Magnin

Section Leader Tertiary Projects

Frédéric Magnin possesses extensive experience in civil engineering and project management, demonstrated through various roles at CERN since October 2010, where responsibilities include coordinating the Science Gateway project and leading teams in civil engineering and tertiary projects. With a solid background managing substantial infrastructure projects at CERN, such as exhibition centers and the renovation of significant structures, Frédéric Magnin previously held positions as Investment Manager at DG Infra+ and Summer Associate at Morgan Stanley. A program manager for the European Commission, Frédéric Magnin oversaw a €60 million budget for transport and environmental cooperation in Congo and has also managed civil construction projects with budgets ranging from €5 million to €15 million. Frédéric Magnin holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Construction Civil Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain, along with a certificate in Sustainable Urban Planning.
