Germano Massullo serves as the CMS Experiment Virtual Organization Contact for computing facilities at CERN since October 2018, contributing to volunteer and grid computing initiatives within the IT-CM-IS organic unit. Additionally, Germano holds multiple roles at Fedora Project since January 2009, including developer, ambassador, and translator. Involvement with the CentOS Project began in 2015 as an EPEL repository packages maintainer. Formerly founded thetra and acted as a mentor during the Google Summer of Code 2017 for OpenWISP. Past experience includes network systems design at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" and project collaboration with CNIT on the CONFINE project. Germano has completed a comprehensive safety training program at CERN, covering various safety protocols and emergency procedures. Education was attained at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
