Gianluigi Arduini has over 28 years of experience at CERN, currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Beams Department and previously holding roles such as Physics Beyond Colliders Study Coordinator and Head of the Accelerators and Beam Physics Group. In addition to contributions at CERN, Gianluigi has been involved with the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) as a member and chair of Working Group 14 on Accelerator Science from October 2016 to October 2024. Gianluigi also chaired and was an elected board member of the Accelerator Group within the European Physical Society from June 2008 to May 2017. Gianluigi Arduini earned a Laurea in Physics from the Università degli Studi di Milano between 1983 and 1989.
