Giulia Tenasini is an Applied Physicist at CERN since November 2024. Prior to this position, Giulia served as a Research Assistant at the University of Geneva from January 2018 to July 2024, focusing on the nano-fabrication of microelectronic devices utilizing 2D materials and the investigation of electronic transport in magnetic van der Waals heterostructures. Giulia obtained a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Physics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 2010 and 2017, and is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Physics at the University of Geneva.
