Haichen Wang is an Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley since January 2019, having previously served as an Assistant Professor. Concurrently, Haichen has been a Chamberlain Fellow at Berkeley Lab since August 2013 and a member of the ATLAS Collaboration at CERN since May 2008, where involvement includes work as a Higgs hunter. Haichen's academic journey began at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where a PhD in Experimental High Energy Physics was obtained from 2007 to 2013, during which a Higgs-like new particle was discovered. Prior educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University from 2003 to 2007.
