Hannah Short has held various prominent positions in technology and research, currently serving as Section Leader for Identity and Access Management at CERN, where involvement spans projects on distributed authentication and authorisation. Hannah also contributes as a CHEP International Advisory Committee Member and Federation Identity Manager, alongside roles as CHEP Conference Track Convenor and a participant in the European Commission funded AARC project. Previous experience includes participation in the GN4-3 Project at GÉANT, lecturing in Information Security at the CODATA Summer School, and technology consulting at Accenture, where projects focused on HR data migration and Microsoft Office 365 rollout. Hannah's background also includes development work at Bloomberg LP and a Master's project at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, complemented by an MSci in Physics from Imperial College London.
