Hao Zhang

Hao Zhang is currently a Cooperation Associate at CERN since February 2022 and has held multiple roles at the University of Liverpool and The Cockcroft Institute since May 2014, including Research Coordinator and Research Laboratory Manager. Previously, Hao Zhang was a Graduate Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities included accelerator operation and teaching graduate students. Experience also includes positions as a Visiting PhD Student at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and Jefferson Lab, focusing on synchrotron radiation imaging systems and optical systems for beam halo imaging. Academic qualifications include a PhD and M.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University.
