Haroon Rafique

Haroon Rafique is a highly experienced accelerator physicist with a focus on beam dynamics and space charge studies. Currently, Haroon holds positions as a Visiting Scientist at CERN and Senior Accelerator Physicist at STFC, contributing to advanced simulations and modeling for the LHC injectors and the ISIS synchrotron. Haroon’s expertise is further demonstrated through a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Accelerator Physics from the University of Huddersfield and a Master’s degree from the University of Manchester. Previous roles include significant research at CERN and as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester, where Haroon developed innovative solutions for collision debris management in high-energy physics applications.
