Ignacio Reguero

Ignacio Reguero has extensive experience in IT service management at CERN, where contributions have spanned from September 1988 to the present. As a Service Manager, Ignacio has coordinated the IT Consultancy team, managed service operations across various groups, and played a key role in the migration to cloud services and system management automation using Agile methodologies. Responsibilities have included overseeing software license management, supporting Central Data Recording for non-LHC experiments, and managing the critical CASTOR2 service for LHC experiments. Prior to CERN, Ignacio worked as a Systems Engineer at Banco Santander and IBM, focusing on network support and system performance. Ignacio holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
