Isabel Pedraza

Visiting Researcher

Isabel Pedraza is a distinguished academic and researcher with extensive experience in high energy physics and supercomputing. Currently serving as a Google Summer of Code Mentor and a Visiting Researcher at CERN, Isabel has been actively involved in managing the Resistive Plate Chambers for the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider since 2006. Roles include Deputy Team Leader for Benemérita Universidad de Puebla, Muon Resource Manager, and Test Beam Coordinator. As a Full-Time Professor at Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, Isabel oversees the Tier3 - Fenix for the Worldwide LHC Computing GRID. Additionally, contributions to the Mexican Supercomputing Network and evaluations for the National Council of Science and Technology highlight Isabel's commitment to advancing scientific research and technology. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
