Jan Dubiński currently serves as a PhD Student Researcher in the Systems Security and Data Privacy group at IDEAS NCBR since October 2023. As a collaborator with CERN since March 2019, Jan is a member of the ALICE Collaboration, focusing on fast simulations of a particle calorimeter using generative adversarial networks and variational autoencoders. Jan's previous roles include a Visiting Researcher at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, Junior Machine Learning Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Poland, and Data Science Intern at buildONdata, among others. Jan holds multiple degrees from Warsaw University of Technology, including a PhD in Computer Science (ongoing), along with additional qualifications in related fields from institutions such as the University of Vienna and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
