Jan Janke

Jan Janke is an experienced professional in business computing, currently serving as Head of Business Computing at CERN since April 2005. In this role, Jan Janke is responsible for portfolio management, product design, architecture management, and the delivery of business computing solutions. Previously, Jan Janke held various positions at CERN, including Deputy Group Leader for both Business Computing and Administrative Information Systems, where responsibilities included strategic planning, resource management, and enterprise architecture. Jan Janke's experience also includes roles as IT Consultant and Software Engineer at BOC Group, as well as research and software engineering at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne. Jan Janke began a career in IT at Daimler AG as an IT Administrator. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in International Business Informatics from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and a Licence/Maîtrise/Maître Ingénieur from Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar.
