Jean-Frederic FUCHS

Section Leader (ASG) - Senior surveying engineer

Jean-Frederic Fuchs has extensive experience in surveying and engineering, beginning as a gliding instructor at the Centre National de Vol à Voile in France from September 1999 to August 2000. Fuchs transitioned to the field of metrology and alignment engineering at CERN, serving as Section Leader and Senior Surveying Engineer from December 2011 to March 2008, where responsibilities included managing metrology for accelerator components and supporting the CMS experiment. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at EDF from March 2008 to December 2011, overseeing the EPR project and high precision metrology in nuclear plants, and working as a land surveyor at Cabinet Cailleux Fouché from September 2000 to January 2001 on a tunnel construction site in Portugal. Fuchs holds a degree from INSA Strasbourg, earned between 1996 and 1999.
