Jim Shank has extensive experience in the field of physics, currently serving as a Program Director at the National Science Foundation since January 2014. In addition, Jim has been a Visiting Physicist at CERN since May 1993, contributing to various aspects of the ATLAS experiment. As a Research Professor at Boston University since February 1989, Jim has been involved in academia while previously coordinating efforts at B. Cruise, International until 2009. Jim's professional background also includes a role as a Physicist at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center from 1980 to 1986. Educationally, Jim attended the University of California, Berkeley, from 1976 to 1985.
