Jing Wang

Senior Research Fellow at CERN

Jing Wang is a Senior Research Fellow at CERN since May 2023, actively involved in the CMS collaboration and serving as co-convener of the Heavy-ion Physics Group. Previously, Jing Wang held the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2013 to April 2023, also within the CMS collaboration, and contributed as co-convener of the Heavy-ion Spectra/Heavy Flavor Group during 2022-2023. Prior experience includes serving as Research Assistant at MIT, where Jing Wang was the convener of the Heavy-ion Spectra/Heavy Flavor Group from 2018 to 2021. Jing Wang obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from MIT in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Peking University in 2013.
