Joanne Segars Obe

Joanne Segars OBE is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in pension fund governance and investment management. Currently serving as a Board Member for CERN's Pension Fund Governing Board and Chairperson of the Independent Governance Committee at Legal & General, Segars also leads as Chair of the Board of Trustees at NOW: Pensions and as Chair of the Board of Directors at LGPS Central Limited, overseeing a significant asset pool for local government pension funds. With a background that includes roles as a Board Member for the Environment Agency, Pensions Infrastructure Platform Ltd., and a Chief Executive position at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, Segars has played a pivotal role in representing workplace pensions in the UK and Europe. Segars holds degrees from Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Warwick, and is currently pursuing an HND in Photography.
