João Oliveira

João Oliveira is a seasoned mechanical engineer currently serving as a Configuration Manager at CERN since November 2023. Previously held the position of Mechanical Engineer at Actemium for a brief period in September to October 2023, and was with CERN from November 2017 to August 2023, where João worked as a Mechanical Engineer Fellow and Project Associate in the High Luminosity LHC Project Office. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at HackerSchool from November 2015 to July 2017 and contributing as a member of the Projeto Sustentabilidade Energética Móvel from March 2014 to November 2016. João Oliveira earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (2011 - 2017) and completed secondary education at Escola Secundária D. Filipa de Lencastre (2008 - 2011) in Sciences and Technologies.
