Jonathan Emery

Jonathan Emery is an experienced R&D Electronic and Systems Engineer currently leading the electronic design for the Beam Wire Scanner at CERN since January 2014. With a tenure at CERN extending back to 2005, Jonathan has contributed significantly to various projects, including the implementation of a measurement instrument for all accelerators and the development of FPGA boards for the BLM LHC system. Earlier positions include roles at Logitech and Université de Genève, focusing on embedded programming and infrared motion camera design. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in embedded systems and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering, complemented by substantial training in electronics and languages.
