Jules Braken is a graduate in Automotive Engineering from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, where they also pursued a minor in Lightweight Structural Vehicle Design. Currently, Jules is a Trainee focusing on thermomechanical simulations at CERN, developing a finite element analysis model to investigate the vibrational behavior of the Large Hadron Collider beam dumps. Previously, they held roles as a Mechanical Engineering Fellow at CERN, coordinating the manufacturing and testing of various devices, and as a Development Engineering Intern at Firestone Airide, where they contributed to the design and validation of air springs for commercial vehicles. Additionally, Jules served as a mathematics tutor, supporting Automotive Engineering students in their coursework.
