Julio Fernandes is an experienced researcher and data scientist with a strong background in electrical engineering and electronics. Currently serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at CERN since January 2014, Julio has developed a scalable configuration database editor for the ATLAS experiment, focusing on high efficiency in managing large databases. Previously, from March 2017 to February 2018, Julio worked as a Data Scientist at Zelum Analítico, where an optimization system for digital marketing investments was implemented for a leading Brazilian fashion retail company. Julio holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
