Katie Taylor is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Physicist (CPhys) specializing in applied physics for radiation studies. They currently serve as a Radiation Safety Expert at CERN, focusing on radiation-matter interactions to support LHC operations. Previously, they held the position of Senior Research and Development Engineer at the UK Atomic Energy Authority, where they contributed to a £200M initiative and led significant analyses for fusion reactor environments. Katie obtained their MPhys with First Class honors from the University of Southampton in 2019.
