Katy Foraz

Katy Foraz is currently the EN department head at CERN, overseeing the engineering competences, infrastructure systems, and technical coordination required for the accelerator complex and its experimental facilities. Prior to this role, Katy served as a group leader in the Engineering Department, focusing on Accelerator Coordination & Engineering. With extensive experience at CERN since 1993, Katy has held positions such as Section Leader for Accelerator Complex - Coordination and Schedule, LHC Schedule Officer, Engineer in Charge, and Junior Project Engineer. Katy's educational background includes studying at EPF Engineering School from 1988 to 1993.
