Kiran Kumar Das is an accomplished electronics engineer with extensive experience in high-performance systems and communication technologies. Currently serving as a CMS Electronics Engineer at CERN since June 2020, Kiran has implemented algorithms on FPGA for the L1 Trigger system of the CMS, developed DAQ readout logic, and tested signal integrity. Prior to this role, Kiran worked at Nokia as a SoC Baseband Engineer, focusing on baseband module design for 5G receivers, and at Aalto University as a Research Assistant, where Kiran developed a real-time FPGA-based receiver for low energy modulation schemes. Additionally, Kiran gained experience as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, working on a Cognitive Radio Test Bed. Kiran holds a Master’s Degree in Wireless Communications from Aalto University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Science & Technology.
