Lieven Vernimmen

Lieven Vernimmen is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in HR advisory, recruitment, and organizational support across various sectors. Currently serving as a Human Resources Advisor at CERN since June 2019, Lieven provides guidance on HR policies, manages performance evaluations and promotions, and supports staff in international relations and civil engineering departments. Prior to this role, Lieven worked as a Recruitment & Sourcing Specialist at CERN, an HR Specialist at imec, and an HR adviser for the City of Antwerp. Additional experience includes positions at t-groep, G4S, and the Federal Criminal Police, with educational qualifications including a Master's in Criminal Science and Bachelor's degrees in Criminology and Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Ghent University.
