Luigi Scibile has extensive experience in accelerator technologies and project management, currently serving as the Technical Coordinator for accelerator technologies and Head of the Site Engineering Group at CERN since April 2010. With a PhD in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, Luigi manages a large team of around 45 staff members and over 100 contractors, overseeing projects exceeding 60 million CHF annually. Prior roles include Project Manager for safety systems at ITER and Chief System Architect at CERN, focusing on large distributed control and monitoring systems. Luigi’s educational background also includes an Executive MBA in Management of Research Infrastructures and a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica.
