Luis Seabra is a developer at CERN since January 2010, specializing in the Detector Control System (DCS) for the ALFA detector and the Tile Calorimeter of ATLAS. Additionally, Luis conducts performance studies for the ALFA detector. At LIP, since July 2007, Luis has worked as a Bolseiro, focusing on control software development in LabVIEW for systems measuring light produced in scintillator tiles and optical fibers for the TileCal and ALFA detectors. Luis has also conducted research on the characterization of optical fibers for the SNO+ detector, including time dispersion and aperture measurements. Luis holds a Mestrado em Engenharia Física and a degree in Engenharia Física from the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.
