Marta Babicz

Team Leader of Platform for Developing Neutrino Detectors (NP03) at CERN

Marta Babicz holds a PhD in Physics and is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich, leading a subgroup within CERN’s NP03 project. With a strong foundation in particle physics, data analysis, and research innovation, Marta’s past experiences include significant roles at CERN, Fermilab, and LNGS, where they developed advanced techniques in data acquisition and machine learning applications. As an elected representative for early-career researchers in the LEGEND collaboration, Marta advocates for their interests while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Additionally, as a Principal Investigator at IFJ PAN, they advanced neutrino physics through innovative calibration methods and machine learning. Marta is passionate about translating research into real-world solutions and thrives in international, multidisciplinary settings.
