Nicholas Lusa is a skilled mechanical technical engineer with extensive experience in the field of magnet technology and production. Currently serving at CERN since October 2019, Nicholas manages the MQXFB coil production for the HL-LHC upgrade, overseeing the assembly processes and the organization of work schedules. Prior to this role, Nicholas worked at INFN as a technical collaborator, specializing in the design and assembly of magnetic and cryogenic equipment from September 2018 to August 2019, and served as a mechanical technician in coil production at CERN from May 2014 to April 2017. Nicholas holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and a technical diploma in mechanical engineering from Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale G.Marconi. Additionally, Nicholas completed a master's program in composite materials at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from November 2020 to March 2022.
