Niko Neufeld

Project Lead

Niko Neufeld is a seasoned Project Lead at CERN, with a tenure starting in September 2005, where responsibilities include overseeing the IT infrastructure of the LHCb experiment, encompassing more than 4000 systems and over 10000 LAN ports, alongside managing a high-capacity data acquisition system. Prior to this role, Niko worked as an Assistant at EPFL from May 2003 to September 2004, focusing on embedded software for read-out electronics and fulfilling teaching duties. Niko holds a PhD in Physics from Technische Universität Wien, earned between 1990 and 1999.
