Oliver Keeble has over two decades of experience in advanced data management and computing, currently serving as Team Leader for Storage at CERN since April 2004. In this role, Oliver oversees Ceph, CERNBox, and distributed file systems. Previous positions at CERN include leading Tape, Archive & Backup operations for 350PB of LHC physics data and guiding the development of the global Data Management platform. Oliver has also spearheaded software development activities in distributed computing and held leadership roles in significant EU projects, including the EGEE-III project. Earlier in his career, Oliver was the Technical Director at Venus Internet, managing critical Unix systems and web application development. Oliver holds a PhD in Astrophysics from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Edinburgh.
