Panja Luukka

Panja Luukka is the Head of the Department of Physics at LUT University, where they also serve as a Professor of Physics. With over 25 years of experience in semiconductor detector research and development, Panja has contributed significantly to the CMS experiment and is involved in sensor development for various applications. Their previous roles include Senior Scientist at the Helsinki Institute of Physics and numerous positions at CERN, where they coordinated multiple projects related to the CMS experiment. Panja obtained both a Master's and a Doctorate in Semiconductor Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
