Philippe Charpentier

Philippe Charpentier has an extensive career in physics, having served as a Senior Physicist at CERN since January 1988 and currently holds the title of Membre Honoraire (Emeritus) and retiree. Prior experience includes a role as a Physicist at CEA from August 1975 to December 1987. Philippe Charpentier earned a Doctoral degree in particle physics from Université de Paris XI (Orsay) and a Master's degree in nuclear physics from the same institution. Additional educational qualifications include an engineering degree from École Polytechnique and a Baccalauréat in science from Lycée Léon Bourgeois, Epernay. Philippe Charpentier also completed preparatory classes at Lycée Georges Clémenceau, Reims.
