Rhea Khatri is a Lab Manager and High Energy Physics Engineer at CERN, specializing in upgrades for the Inner Tracker as part of the US-CMS collaboration. Khatri has contributed to significant design discussions during the CMS Phase II upgrade at CERN and has previous experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, where work included quality assurance testing and simulation research for the Large Hadron Collider’s Upstream Tracker, alongside building modular architectures for quantum computing. Khatri's experience spans various research roles, including conducting gap analysis for the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter and improving quantum memory at the Joint Quantum Institute. Khatri earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Maryland, complemented by minors in Statistics and Business Analytics, and previously founded a non-profit organization to promote STEM education for young girls in Central Jersey.
